Miles and Miles and Miles
I've been collecting frequent flier miles for years. I pretty much only redeemed miles with American Airlines for flights to Texas. I've had 75k miles on AA over the years, but I used almost all of them. I try to concentrate them as much as possible, but basically I'm supposed to take whatever flights come up in our travel system so I end up flying many different airlines. Plus I did a lot of personal travel for cons and such after my divorce.
So I logged in and checked my balances elsewhere, and I've got:
Delta 41,934 miles
NWA 45,715 miles
United 87,911 miles
That's a grand total of 250k miles, most of it in the past three years. I realize there are business people who do a million a year, but that's still a lot of damn travel in a short time.
