Can we please launch the ad execs that came up with the latest Burger King commercial idea into space, perhaps something like Douglas Adam's B Ark? People in burger suits == stoopid.

Lots of things going on at work keeping me busy, spent Friday mostly on my own getting a haircut, watching TV and playing Oblivion. Been spending a little too much time this week on my own I think. I've had far too many dreams featuring my subconsciousness' favorite symbol of isolation and loneliness over the past few weeks, and frankly since even her ghost can't be bothered to return e-mails or phone calls even in my dreams I'd rather have it pick something else. Perhaps Godzilla?

Since rubylou wasn't really up to going with jeliza to the INXS concert Saturday evening, our date started a bit earlier and I went along. Marymoor is a pretty nice venue for a concert. While I completely ignored the entire reality-TV furor over the band picking a new front man, I enjoyed the concert and enjoyed the classics I loved back in the day.

Today was loree's birthday party BBQ, which was good fun. Many times at nerdvana events I don't know the majority of people there, but this time the turn out as a bit more limited and made for a very comfortable time with friends. Excellent way to spend the day. I decided to take off a little early when datavore decided to get aggressive about using up the last of his liquid nitrogen supply.
