After some complications, I'm on my flight to Amsterdam and have my passport / visa. Complications included: road construction detour that got me lost trying to find FedEx, somehow my first segment was canceled so I had to rebook as coach and go on the 'mishandled' list, and dealing with an obnoxious biz traveller who took his sweet-ass time through security. I'm in fact back in business class despite the coach portion of the flight being oversold.

The sheer magnitude of the time shift came home when someone called my cel at 5am expecting I'd be in Moscow today.
